I was 9 years old when this happened, and yet it is one of the main things I will remember Arafat for. The other is the cruel murder of Leon Klinghoffer.
If Arafat had wanted peace, he could have had it decades ago. He preferred murder and suffering. It's a real shame he didn't suffer in dying the way his victims did, but I am confident that he now feels their pain.
