Why would a "patriot" endorse Bill Bradley for President and Hillary Clinton for Senator?

I don't judge a man by two errors in judgement made late in his life. I was in college when I first read his work. I voted for him for the Senate. We came from the same streets, separated by a generation. Maybe you've followed his life, I don't know, but I did and he was a man of principle and patriotism, as when he flagrantly walked out of the General Assembly of the UN when they voted to equate Zionism with racism, but only after embracing the ambassador from Israel. When is the last time a US ambassador to the UN publicly showed that organization the contempt it deserves.?
