GREAT points. I barely graduated high school, and I've never had such fun as when liberals give me the patronizing act and I zap em with facts. They are trapped between their need to feel superior and their need to feel they're wonderful folks who treat the undereducated as victims of the system.
*wait, gots ta put in mah teef so as yer kin here me type rite*
OK, after Krug drug me in by the hair and plopped my baby-maker on the rock in front of the big box, I see what all the laughing is about. Krug rite. That funny! H'yuck!
"I barely graduated high school"
There's no fool like an educated fool. Better to have your head on straight.
One of the dumbest boxes of dirt I ever met had a Ph.D.
I don't like the kneejerk disdain for education some folks have, but not so much as the kneejerk worship of a college education as if it were the ultimate in learning. I've known educated morons and educated near-geniuses; the same for folks who are largely self-educated.
I've learned not to trust people who think a degree means they've got all the answers now. It's as if the awarding of the degree marks the official closing of their minds.

Oh, man! You got me cryin' with that one!
Sounds like the Bizarro's from the Superman comics when I was a kid. "We am funny."

My wife was a special assistant to the director of one of this nation's foremost particle physics research facilities. The staff was almost entirely PhD, and included multiple Nobel Prize recipients. One of her jobs was to go through the facility prior to any VIP visit and remind these geniuses to put on shoes, wear pants without gapping holes in them and to please take a shower more often than once a week.
There is a world of difference between knowledge and common sense and between education and wisdom.

Oh, I don't disdain education. I went to college my own self.
But I think Abbot and Costello pretty much nailed it down:
"Didn't you ever go to school, stupid?"
"Yeah, and I come out the same way."
I wasn't any smarter after I got my sheepskin, only now I can tell you the name of Alexander the Great's horse--if anyone ever needs to know.
Gooollllyyy! Shazaaaam! But we, the knuckledraggers, won!!!!
Ain't life grand!
Correct structure would be, "But us knuckledraggers won!!!!
Can't appear to be uneddicated, you know.
If really smart people and really dumb people agree, does that make dumb people look smart, or smart people look dumb?
All that academic now, pardon expression. We take your word we dumb. From now on follow your advice: Vote for us, you stupid morons. Only true genius could come up with real winning political slogan like that.

Oh my! GREAT read!
How smart can you be if you lose TWO elections to a "complete and utter moron" such as the President? I can't remember his name, but a famous baseball manager once said, "Losing to (baseball team) is like drowning in 2 inches of water". Glub glub, RATs.
This is a rather incendiary statement. I hope he wan't referring to the folks in the city slums!
A little old Boston lady I knew who had lived near Norbert Wiener told of him walking home one day when a little girl ran up to him. Prof. Wiener said "Who's little girl are you?". The little girl replied "Why, yours, Daddy!"
LOL, loved it.
You gotta read the whole article before you comment.
