A little girl who was recently named student of the month or year was now suspended for doing cartwheels during school recess or whatever. So her parents yanked her out of school for home schooling until they can find a more reasonable(common sensed) school in their area. The mind boggles how or what school principles are thinking when they do these type of suspensions.

Because the vast majority of parents aren't qualified to teach to their children and schools teach other skills beside the academic ones...

In most cases the "product" is a badly-educated person, without social skills... Not in all cases, but in the majority...

It doesn't say that all schools are "ideal", they aren't... But the fact that parents aren't qualified to teach their children is a fact, especially in specialized courses...

I understand from cable news coverage that she actually trains in gymnastics.

This definitely wasn't a reasonable action by a school.

Homeschooling is a very bad idea to those who prefer indoctrination in government schools.

Homeschooled children outperform government school children in every aspect of eduction and learning.

Though I suspect that government school children perform better at putting condoms on cucumbers.

The exact opposite is true. Learn what you are talking about before opening your mouth.

You do know that homeschooling is regulated, right? There are standardized tests, approved curriculums and so on.
