Arafat was corrupt and like any other dispicable puke he payed off the right people to ensure he remained alive. He also made sure there was no order of succession lest the next guy in line speed up ol' Yasser's demise. While the MSM hesitates to call this assho!e what he was the rest of us are glad he's dead. And as far as a "bloodbath" taking place among the Palestinians to decide who takes control, who cares? These people need to get their own house in order before anyone can or should deal with them.

In effect, Arafat was no different than Castro. Both got rich on the backs of the people they claimed to be "struggling" for while they continued to keep those people under control by limiting their opportunities toward a better life.

Hungry, poor, down-trodden folks are easily manipulated. Castro knew this. Arafat knew this. And my guess is the next guy in charge will know it as well. Methinks the tradition will continue.
