As I follow this thread I notice a lot of folks wondering what they can do to help our heroes over there. Direct support to the troops can be done thru the USO (http://www.uso.org/) or to Any Soldier (http://www.anysoldier.com/index.cfm).

Support that is a bit more indirect, but is designed to help our troops get the Afghanis and Iraqis back on their feet as democratic (and I don't mean that in the DNC/DU sense of the term) nations ASAP and thereby get our brave men and women back home ASAP can be done thru Spirit of America (http://www.spiritofamerica.net/).

Look em over. Decide how you would prefer to help. And then, please, give our troops a hand!

If anyone else knows of other effective organizations that we can help our heroes thru, post them on this thread!

God Bless Our Brave Troops, One and All!

Thank you for the links. I'm going to spread the word here in my locality, so the more info the better.

That anysoldier URL was misformed. Here's a link that works:

http://www.anysoldier.com/index.cfm

Great site.
