What are the items the troops ask for most often?

movies and microwave popcorn.
We've sent over the past 3 1/2 years close on 500 movies to various bases. (we've sent out 3 DVD players, 3 VCR players and a microwave and a toaster oven)
For a base without a microwave, Sam's Club toffee popcorn with peanuts was a big hit.

certain snacks: Reese's peanut butter cups, mixed deluxe nuts were popular with some. Snickers was a bit hit at Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo, our first base.

Special Forces wanted beef jerky and Power Bars.

Had some special requests for certain music CD's, certain computer games (we have sent a couple Nintendo, several Playstations and an Xbox to some bases).

We've done special requests for the gal soldiers and they're covered for now.
