More madness in the blue states. Now hold on; isn't this the story of Abraham and Issac, aborted by government interference? How do we know that God hadn't told these folks what to do? < / piety>

is there more to this story than just some people headed to church saying "let's make the sacrifice?"
'cause the "sacrifice of the Mass" gets underway here in about 3 hours, and if I'm going to be arrested for saying that I'm going there, I wanna call and make sure my lawyer's done golfing.

Thurber was also charged with marijuana possession. Not surprising -- but I bet if they looked harder, they'd find traces of some other drugs. Pot alone shouldn't make a couple want to kill their children.

No killing tools (knives, guns, etc.) were mentioned in this report. Exactly what was mama planning to do? The way this reads, she could have had something "symbolic" in mind (or not). Too little detail here.
To: BenLurkin
Well, what was she going to do? Donate them to the Church for the use of the priests?

Hannah dedicated her son Samuel to the High Priest Eli (Samuel 1:28) although it is clear this was not a common practice in scriptural times.

No, madness among those who should never be allowed near religion because of their weak and fetid minds. Plenty of sick twists in the red states too.

A judge ordered Mancini, of Rochester, to undergo a mental evaluation. Gee, ya think?
