They were also brain washed. By education I mean a Western style education with something else offered than the Koran. Bin Laden is well educated he is also a religious nut. We have our own home grown varieties of that here. One can have an education and still be involved in a cult. One does not exclude the other. The ones who are used the most by the educated fundamentalists are those educated in madrassas (sp?) with no exposure to anything out their narrow world. I also think they intentionally keep these people poor because they can feed on there resentment. Witness the adoration of Arafat by the poor people there. They are willing to over look the fact he ripped them off. It's all his wife's fault in their minds. That fits perfectly with the Muslim fundamentalist belief that all women are evil. They can't see out side their narrow view because they do not even know another view exists. Anything not taught by their leaders is automatically evil.
Having spent a lot of time in Holland, it was apparent that the Dutch became lazy and let the immigrants do the heavy lifting. Now, they are paying the price.

There's a huge difference between having a large percentage of English-speaking American citizens of Hispanic descent and having a large percentage of illegal immigrants, many of whom speak only Spanish.

If there was a silver lining to nations like Poland being behind the Iron Curtain, it's that as a result, they were spared from the same fate of having mass influxes of Muslim immigrants. I can only hope that now they are part of the EU, they won't be forced to change their immigration policies. Somehow I don't think the Poles will be as "tolerant" as the Dutch towards the Muslims.

Darfur isn't against infedils, it's against black muslims, if it were against infedils (like southern Sudan) it would go on for 20 years and no one would say a word, (like the 2 million Christians and Animists killed in southern Sudan). Want to give them an assignment, there's the spot, or Nigeria or Eritria.
