The enslaved citizens of Fallujah are gone. We are left with the "foreign and domestic insurgents" (al Queda). Kill them all....No prisoners!
It is mostly deserted. All who aren't terrorists got large notices that the area was going to get the living snot kicked out of it.
The "brave" terrorists were busy hiding in apartments and taking potshots at our troops. Those who dared show their faces typically got 'em blown clean off.
So they left before the fighting began?
Did US forces search them on their way out? If not, how do we know how many insurgents left the city and how many armaments they took with them?
This whole thing scares me, to be honest. It almost feels like an urban trap. I hope our people make it out ok.
Did US forces search the people who left to make sure there werent any weapons being taken out of the city for use against our forces at a later, more opportune, time?

The Fallujah campaign was a great success. There was about a month of leaflets, radio & TV to the populace to get the f--- out, because hell was coming to town. The video shows that hell has arrived.
God bless those men.
I have absolutely no experience of war but it didn't look like anyone was shooting back. Good idea, to give our soldiers periscopes.

If memory serves, there were checkpoints on every exit out of the city. If they didn't search those fleeing, then we've got a major malfunction here.
