Actually, the Classical Greeks considered insertive anal intercourse an abomination. While they may have been less discouraging with other practices such as homosexual fellatio, they were adamantly against insertive anal intercourse between men. Men who were full-time homosexuals were despised as effeminate and the objects of mockery in ancient Greek plays.
