This is a war, dammit, not a parade of accused criminals for the "American" Civil Liberties Union to represent. These buildings (and bodies) are often booby-trapped; you cannot expect 19 year olds under the heat of battle with constant threats to their lives to operate under Marquis of Queensbury rules. Bush needs to decide whether he won this election and just what policies the majority of us who elected him will tolerate. You've got the majority, Mr. President, USE IT!

FROM TAMMY BRUCE:

As many of you know, one of our fighting men has come under
"investigation" for shooting a terrorist who was pretending to be dead in a mosque.
The media is spinning this as a "shooting of a wounded, unarmed Iraqi." The bottom line is that he was a murderous savage trying to trick one of our soldiers, who then did his job by killing that enemy.
Quite a few of our casualties as we liberated Fallujah were soldiers who approached the supposed dead or wounded terrorists only to be injured or killed because the body or person was boobytrapped. This was at a time of combat and our young man did his duty. He deserves a medal, not a lawyer.
Please contact the Department of Defense, the White House, your congressional representatives and the US Marine Corp to express your support for that brave marine. Tell them you expect him to be treated as a hero who did his job. Essentially, your voice must eclipse the leftist media who in all likelihood probably expect to make this another abu Ghraib.

Here are the contact numbers and e-mails. Yahoo doesn't allow e-mails in these messages, so I've added a space so it can be read. Please eliminate that space when you use it:

Department ofg Defense: 703-428-0711
House/Senate Contact: 202-224-3441 (They'll ask for your state, and
then connect you to your senator or congressman).
US Marine Corp Public Relations: 703-614-1492
DoD E-mail/Website: www.defenselink.mil (use their 'contact us' link
to e-mail Rumsfeld and everyone else)
President Bush: president @whitehouse.gov
VP Cheney: vicepresident @whitehouse.gov

Please voice your support for this Marine and all our other soldiers so they feel free and safe to perform their duty as this young man has done. As John Kerry said, we need to find and kill terrorists. This Marine did just that, and in a situation where clearly he felt in danger and acted to save the lives of his buddies.

I'll keep you updated here and on my show.

Best
Tammy BRUCE

my question is : what has now become of Kevin Sites?
still embedded? transfered to another unit?
left on his own to find his way out of al Anbar?

Curious minds want to know!....

The young soldier has a lot of support all over the

country. Today I fished with several of the troops who will

be going back to Iraq and everyone supports him this is

truly a national outrage against the media.

Now is the time for all the politicians who support the troops but not the war to open their mouths and show their support for the troops. It's only been a few days but the longer this goes on the more deafening the silence.

It would be good for President Bush to come out and support this Marine, but I guess that's too much to ask these days.

The U.S. military has been embarrassed by scandals in Iraq.

Pure BS!

The US has been unfairly attacked by the main stream media with overblown and outright fabricated stories.

The only scandal is that the US public doesn't march in protest against the networks.

These anti-American evil doers need to be brought to justice

Once again the left will help the Islamofascists with their propaganda campaign.

Hopefully the young marine wasn't "acting up" for the cameras.

The NBC correspondent should go back and embed with the same Marine unit when they hit Mosul.

He'll never go back with a Marine Unit in country for an extended night op. He may do so during the day, he may do it with a camera on him... but his days of going with the troops "anonymously" are done.

Nobody will cover his "6". They wouldn't kill him but that doesn't mean he wouldn't die. It's awful lonely on a battelfield, especially if you are the odd man out.

Kevin Sites should proudly wear the scalp of every Marine who hesitates and dies due to a "fake" surrender or "rigged" body. NBC should be covered with the blood of every Marine as well. Rest well Kevin... you did a great job for the insurgents today. You may get more Marines killed than the islamo-thugs.

I still have not seen or heard anything that convinces me that this Marine did anything wrong. The Geneva Conventions are a series of wartime rules ,which, when I can find it I will post it,also prohibits against using wounded or the dead to further combat. Of course, beheading probably doesn't fall under the GCs. Just things the US Military does are covered.

The military command launched an investigation after video footage showed a U.S. Marine shooting a wounded and unarmed man in a mosque in the city on Saturday. The man was one of five wounded and left in the mosque after Marines fought their way through the area.

I'd really like to know why editors let their reporters get away with stuff like this.. I mean, yeah, I know, media bias, but there is a line one can cross... '...a man who later was shown to be unarmed and wounded...' The funny thing is that they'll bend over backwards to say 'allegedly' about any murderer, yet a soldier doesn't even get the same grace.

What would you do? ??? what you should do is put a round through said supposedly bad guys head/spinal stem and eliminate the threat to you and your palls in a tenth of a second.

done

what the hell is up with the media - f#ck em

this man saved his life and others as well

[ From another FR posting on Hezbollah jihadis in Lebanon. ] Here is what this country is up against: women parading as suicide bombers, boys raised worshiping hate and murder becoming islamo-nazi men.

WAKE UP! Americans who can't support ALL our guys in Iraq should go live in Lebanon.
