I agree.. I think the same on the motion Geragos filed yesterday. Wasted time and efforts! Geragos loses, and took the peterson's money and ran! Also, I have a weird feeling that Scott will be spared the DP!

NBC4, LA reported that Geragos was in LA court that day of the verdict. Not confirmed.. On Lee Peterson, I haven't found anything that I have been keeping up on where he was.

As another freeper stated last Friday, he was banging on Geragos law offices, demanding a refund! ;o)

Prediction..no new jury, no mistrial over jury misconduct...The testimony about the loss of Laci and Conner at the penalty phase will be heartbreaking.

I agree with you Meg..that's all I have been thinking about since about five minutes after the Guilty Verdict was announced.

After that heart wrenching press conference from Sharon the day Horny Bastard was arrested, you can bet the testimony at this penalty will be 100 times more emotionally charged. Now they can legally pronounce to the world the name of the evil monster that slaughtered Laci and Conner Peterson...

and his name is Scott Peterson.

I never know about a jury..It doesn't matter to me because California really doesn't execute anyway...

I just want to think he finally "gets it" someday that what he did has taken away his sought after freedom rather than giving it to him...

I want Scott to really hurt over getting caught..I think he is incapable of true remorse.

Gosh Jackie he's tried this TWICE before with Judge Delucchi. Was DENIED X 2!! What does he think a Death Qualified Jury means? It's just a ploy. A bad one, but a ploy. Change of Venue? - FOR GET IT!!

I have heard it said from people like Sylvia (the psychic) that hell can be here on earth.....I think the Petersons won't have to pack their bags, they are already here !!! Scott Peterson should be the poster boy for neglected offspring, bought off by excuses and and as much $$$ as it takes to keep this imbecile protected from the realities of life. Not to make any excuses for him if he had half a brain he could have figured it all out for himself.

I am pro death penalty but in this case life without parole would be more fitting.
With death imposed Scott will be on death row and away from the general population.
Life without parole puts him in general population after a settling in period.
This will be harder for him to deal with for lots of reasons:
His notoriety; child killer; and what will be his biggest downfall - his lies.
Also I heard that back when Garagos was flinging around accusations left and right (satanic cults, et-al) that he intimated that a motorcycle gang was involved in Lacis' disappearance. This will cause trouble for Scott if there are any members of this gang in the same prison.

I'd rather see Scott get life w/o parole. He should be put in with the general population of murderers, rapists etc. in the state's worst prison without any chance of hiding from his chosen peer group.

While we're at it his cell should be wallpapered with blow-ups of Laci and Connor as they were found on the shore and the wallpaper should include the autopsy photos as well, wall to wall and on the ceiling.

A needle in his vein 20 years from now (if it even happened then) while being protected 23 hrs a day in a private cell is too easy a punishment IMO for what he did. Not to mention a waste of the tax payers money.

Let karma do it's work and make Scott sorry everyday for what he did to Laci and Connor.

Evil? Maybe so, but a fitting punishment for his crime, in my mind. Laci and Connor didn't get the easy way out, neither should Scott.

On some of the talk shows they were interviewing prisoners about SP and one said he would be the SCOURGE of the prison and that he was in big trouble for implicating Skeeter and Ratso (whatever his name was) in the kidnapping plot and that they had "friends" in jail who could get to SP. It was also mentioned that some of the larger gangs had guys on the outside who could/would shake down members of his family until they (their gang) got some $$$ for protecting Scott. Finally one fella was saying that Scott was notorious and that in itself put a price on his head.....talk about hell here on earth......whew !!! maybe Lee and Jackie can find another planet to live on .....
