By this logic, left-wing talkies should have boomed the past four years and be golden now...so where are they?...

One of life's great mysteries, along with how Fox beat the pants off of CNN and MSNBC.

Right-Wing Wins Take Wind Out of Talk-Show Hosts

If the Republicans had been trounced, they would have had said the same damn thing.

The Radio Lefties are all over the place. They're just not as constantly and overtly political as the most popular conservative talkers. Stern, Imus, Steve Dahl back in the day in Chicago, they all have liberal points of view, but they are more entertainment-based.

I'm surprised they didn't use a fat pic of Rush.

Do you mean the one where he's sneezing, but it makes him look like he is doing his Adolph Hitler impersonation?

Conservative talk, by far the most popular kind on the airwaves, has always traded on an undercurrent of grievance, a sense of being the underdog against the implacable, oppressive forces of liberal "elitism."

Idiota.

Yesterday I saw a picture of a shriveled up 6-month old fetus that was aborted by an injection of a saline (salt) solution...

If you think there's nothing left to talk about, you need to look a little deeper, kiddo.

I remember people on the left saying it was the end of Rush because Clinton had been elected. They said it in 1992 and again in 1996. Now they're saying the opposite. It's laughable.

We have not been an underdog for some while now and our radio is just fine. You guys are just waking up to realize we are on the top now. I'd start worrying about your left-wing "mainstream" media at this point, dude.

"Conservative talk, by far the most popular kind on the airwaves,"

Another lie ignoring the political activist MSM, such as NBC, ABC, CBS, NPR, and CNN...

Rush will eat this column for lunch today and his main point will be to remind us all that covering the liberals is the most fun, the most outrageous, when they are scrapping to retrieve their power.

This is when conservative talk radio is at it's best, covering the desperate maneuvers of the left. And too...when republicans are in power, it's the very time conservatives , especially one issue conservatives get pretty outrageous themselves. Of necessity, they must. At least that was true in the past.

The landscape looks and feels different this time with President Bush at the helm. So far so good, the man is proving to be a man of his word, no betrayals now that he's re-elected, looks to me like he aims to keep his word to all of us.

And talk radio will continue to grow, to the chagrin of the left, and this writer's wishful thinking.

Exactly. Right-thinking talkers don't need Kerry...or any other dem...in the White House for show content. The MSM has a super-economy-sized-technicolor-dreamworks bullseye with kung-fu grip pinned right on its tail. Rush&Co. will have more than they can cover for the foreseeable future.

This guys mistakenly makes the assumption that after you win you rest on your laurels.

The battle against the liberal agenda is endless.

Hannity would be the first to say this article is crap.

Eternal vigilance is required which makes his [et al] job as important as ever.

Don't know if that is a criticism but you need to look at my comment, no where does it say "imploding all over the place" simply says the way the libs are imploding.
