The dems in the senate during her confirmation?

The radio/press will throw the bigot remarks

As for the Senate .. they will have the same Dems as usual to go on the attack of her.

Rush: "I think what we've had here is a little social concern in the NFL," Limbaugh said. "The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. There is a little hope invested in McNabb and he got a lot of credit for the performance of this team that he didn't deserve. The defense carried this team."

Rush was basically fired for this remark and smeared by the MSsportsM--he was called racist because it suited them.

Yet we are treated to daily cartoons calling Ms. Rice "brown sugar" , where she says things like "I knows.."....

and they don't bat an eye.

Grrrr.

and they don't bat an eye.

Until large numbers of folks from the black community stand up to these racist liberals and say NO MORE ... the liberals will continue to not bat an eye

The theme is by a band that has (had) Chrysie Hynde (sp). He's talked about her before and the theme. Maybe that will help.

Callers furious over the depiction of Condi. One a conservative, one a Liberal.

Conservative said Jesse Jackson is more interested in being a Democrat, than a black man. Otherwise he'd be out there defending Condi.

Liberal caller said he may disagree with Bush and Condi, but he will gladly debate on ISSUES. Knows many black people that abandoned the Democrat Party because the party has gone off the deep end.

Democrats are just re-proving their racism.

It was Democrats who tried to block the civil rights legislation.

Its Democrats who want to keep folks on the welfare dime, under the thumb of big govt. Which keeps people from getting ahead.

Its Democrats who call anyone who refuses to stay in the shacks of the Democrap plantation as uncle toms.

Democrats are only for the little people...if the little people know their place. They don't want anyone from the mid to lower classes to make the climb up the ladder.

Their thinking is..."How dare they think they should dwell up here with us. How dare they think they can come to our Hamptons on vacation. How dare they think they can even drive on the grounds of our private clubs. How dare they think we should respect those hayseeds in the military and redstates....."

That is their thinking. They are Elitist Communist Pigs.

In agreement.

Since Leftists are interested in the maps of Civil war America, perhaps we should also bring up which Party controlled the South at the time?

Notice how they conveniently forget that little detail when they make the inference conservatives in "Red" states are racists? Suggesting that it is heritary when in reality all people did was alter their zipcodes. The racists took their ideology and migrated, but they maintained their loyalty to the same Party that elevates Byrd.

Here is the exuse that the moderator at the Washington Post Politics forum is making for the racist Condi cartoon:

http://forums.washingtonpost.com/wppolitics/messages?msg=4512.29

And here is a photo gallery of Rice. One can see that indeed, as a feature goes, Rice's lips and teeth are prominent.

Similarly cartoonists depicted John Kerry when he was running for president, with a face about two feet long and only outdone by his deeply sunken eyes. Bush is often portrayed with largish ears. Clinton was routinely depicted with a bloated gut and a bulbous nose.

Please, don't come on to the forum to rabblerouse over non-issues. Keep it on-topic, which is Rice's appointment, not your selective interpretation of the grotequeties in cartooning.

These people are unbelievable. If a Republican had created similar cartoon depicting a democratic administration in the same light, they would never have gotten away with it. No doubt this very Washington Post moderator would be crying foul at the top of her lungs. Incomprehensible!

Yeah, Oprah should open her big mouth in Condi's defense or at least do a show on Condi. Here are some more racist cartoons on Condi.

Rush's theme music is a loop of the instrumental riff from "My City was Gone" by the Pretenders. Chrissie Hynde is the singer, it's from their 1984 album "Learning to Crawl."

Hope this helps you track down what you're looking for.

(FYI, the Eurythmics' lead singer you're thinking of was Annie Lennox.)
