OK I gritted my teeth and went to read that 2nd link of yours -- the one at daily kos.

I need a shower as badly as I do when I go read some of the links that are posted to DU.

At the kos site, I saw only 1 or 2 posters who began their arguments against Dr. Rice coherently -- and then they, like the rest of the posters, descended into some loony moonbat rant or logically incoherent rant from the Marxist left play book.

The commie Left is truly looking to start a revolution and that is the scary part of this Red / Blue division which sKerry and Co only served to enflame. It is the Left that plays the race card; it is the Left that has hate and intolerence as the fuel for their fire.

I'm truly disgusted.

It's paraphrasing "Gone With The Wind", where the young slave girl, whose name escapes me,plaintively says, "I dunno nuttin' 'bout birthin' babies, Mz. Scarlett."

It's also a reference to her 9/11 commission testimony.

You make an excellent and obvious point. Very obvious to all but the Left, of course.

The thing that amazes me about these cartoonists. . . they think that most of the black community is just to dumb to even understand the cartoon, or for that matter, even read the paper.

There is absolutely no fear that there will be any kind of outrage by the mainstream black voters of America.

I'd like to hear JC Watts address this somewhere. (Hannity?), and blow this specific form of racisim right open.

What were the aluminum tubes used for, and why is she attempting to help them / care for them?

No, but she's a leftist, staying well within the boundaries of their "plantation", so she was fine. The leftists are all for blacks getting ahead, so long as they don't suddenly find out they don't have to be leftists to do so.

Condi is attractive and intellectually brilliant. The sniveling little lefties I overheard making fun of her photo are deficient in both aspects.

We get the cartoon. Yes, the aluminum tubes are in reference to the WMD...The cartoon is supposed to be a play on the "Gone With the Wind" black character, "I don't know nuthin' about birthin' no babies" line.

Inherently racist cartoon.

Get it?

In all of this we are seeing the same thing from the libs. To accept that a black female could honestly, openly, and fairly reach such a position of power and influence during a Republican administration would do much more than create cognitive dissonance, it would shatter a major pillar of their belief system. So once again, as with C. Thomas, they need to convince themselves that she must somehow be corrupt and therefore not truly representative of her race and gender.

They were supposed to be part of the WMD find in Iraq and she testified about them to the 9-11 Commission. But as to the subtleties of this, only the left would probably "get" why it is relevant to anything.(Not because of any intelligence on their part!) They are just imploding and I am loving to watch it happen.

I hope we see Clarence Thomas hearings again when he's appointed Chief Justice. Schumer already called him "Judge Tom."

Condoleezza Rice

professor, diplomat
Born: 11/14/1954
Birthplace: Birmingham, Alabama

Rice became National Security Advisor to President George W. Bush in 2001. Rice received a BA in political science from the University of Denver at age 19, followed by an MA in political science from the University of Notre Dame in 1975, and a PhD from the Graduate School of International Studies at the University of Denver in 1981. An expert on Russia and Eastern Europe, she began teaching political science at Stanford University in 1981. From 1989 to 1991 she advised the Bush administration on foreign policy and military issues, including the unification of Germany and the breakup of the Soviet Union. Rice later returned to Stanford, and was named provost, the university's budget and academic official, in 1993. In 1999 she took a leave of absence to advise the Bush campaign. Author of several books on foreign policy, Rice is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and holds honorary doctorates from Morehouse College, the University of Alabama, and the University of Notre Dame.

Plus she can skate and play piano.

Yup, Sharon Stone has a lot on her.

These are rather ambiguous. Despite the top headline about whitey, it's a nice picture of her, and has a good message at the bottom. They've done others like the one about "Sgt. Rummy sez 'Hope Allah's Wearin' Kevlar.'"

"The leftists are all for blacks getting ahead"

I don't think they really do. They say it, then if any minorities actually do get ahead, they start trashing them like they have Condi, C.Thomas, Thomas Sowell, shall I go on! The only reason they keep Al and Jesse around is that they don't rock the liberal boat!

The tubes in question were of possible dual use, one of them having to do with uranium enrichment or some such. The setting is something of a parody of a scene from "Gone with the Wind". The black slave/nanny says "I don't no nothin bout birthin no babies miz Scarlett.

Didn't you know that only Republicans can commit hate crimes?

Leftists can bash Clarence Thomas or Condi Rice all day long, insult them as Uncle Toms, and more, but that doesn't count.

Similarly, leftists can caricature and demonize Israel and the Jews, but it's impossible for a leftist to be antisemitic.

And how about that very typical caricature of Bush? Does anyone think it looks anything like him at all? Or is it just a caricature of all the other caricatures of Bush, steaming up from the hate-filled minds of leftist ideologues?
