look at what the Democratic party has done to a once strong and moral community. Can't have people independently making their way in the world, if that were allowed to happen they'd feel no debt to these organizations that exist solely to leech off the success of others.

Were Rush's comments racially motivated, he would have also included Culpepper, Stewart, McNair, Vick, Carter, etc. in his tale. He didn't, because his story was motivated by football, not race.
With a one sentence reply, it's difficult to tell just what you're trying to imply, but if you're trying to find some equivalence between what the left is doing to Condi Rice (and will do to Thomas, should he be nominated as the next Chief Justice), then you're way, way off the mark. If that's not your intent, then I apologize for mistaking it as such.
Well, knowing the liberal press, I would just guess the latter! You can just know that it was not meant to be a positive image of her OR the president!

You're right, but that doesn't totally explain why Colin Powell did not elicit this hysterical reaction from the left. Maybe, just maybe, it had to do with the fact that they thought Powell would carry their water, whereas they know Condi won't? Also, because they knew Powell was not that close to Bush, therefore was not as big a threat.
I also heard Larry Johnson on Greta van Susteren(I think) last night. He was calling Condi 'totally incompetent' and other similar vitriol.
The left is really going after her with all the hatred and venom they can muster.
