I pray you're right. I see glimmers here and there - but if this is the future of "professional" journalism, then it will surely die.
They will die by their own hand, alone, with no one to miss them. Entire papers are losing circulation, once-proud newsrooms are preaching to empty seats every night, and they do not understand why.
This is sad.
The ones who have been held back, down, by the liberal journelitists are the ones who will eventually turn it around. You know, the ones who still look for the truth, the whole story? I know, they're endangered, but not quite extinct.

Excellent and very insightful. No wonder we hate these guys so much. I remember Peter Jennings saying something very in tune with this sentiment during the First Gulf War. I am paraphrasing but he said: "We are not pro US or pro Iraqi, we are neutral." However, I think he was lying. I believe deep in his heart he hates everything about the United States, including its Military, people and all its institutions -- except for the law that guarantees him freedom of speech. I wonder where the MSM thinks the guarantee of freedom speech comes from and who insures that it remains free. Yep, they owe the soldier, the American soldier, a lot more than they think.
