Final Quilla was 21-13 with Auburn just lacklusterly taking a knee the final minute of the game. Sorry I did not post more frequently for you, but I ran back and forth between time outs and commercials.

There was some little scuffle at the end of the game, but nothing bad, otherwise both side seemed gentlemanly towards each other.

Bama played Auburn well enough to perhaps drop Auburn down from a tie with OU. The First Half was all Bama it seemed except the last drive for Auburn and the second half was all Auburn except for the long last drive of Bama. All in all, not the most exciting Ala/AU game I have ever viewed, but they all can't be nail biters.

You were a trooper and I appreciated your updates. Just hearing the words "Toomer's Corner" sure brought back memories to this Auburn grad. Thanks again and have a lovely evening.

I am not sure Auburn will drop. AU/AL is *the* rivalry, and the fact Bama dominated the first half was not that surprising, given the unpredictability of the rivalry. Bama is also better than it looks on paper.

For us: not playing one half out of an entire season is not so bad. Then again, Auburn's offense makeover and resulting perfect season has surprised both the coaches and the press. Since we are a dark horse candidate anyway, it will not surprise me if we cannot convert our magical season into an Orange Bowl bid in the end. It will not, however, mean we do not deserve it. What a year it has been (though it would not have meant much at all if we had not won today, of course :->).
