Hadn't heard that, but sounds like an excellent move on Bush's part. Bush ran a solid campaign, but in hindsight supporting Specter may have been his biggest blunder. But at the time, PA was an important battleground state. One would have assumed Specter might actually help Bush, but it might have surpressed more conservative voters. Who knows, I am not even sure hindsight is 20-20.
We'll see what happens, but I think it would be a great move, especially if Toomey wants to go after Rendell!
