The computer will allow anyone to have sex via direct hookup with the brain to anyone you desire.......
People will starve to death and be totally lost to this new emerging form of pronography that WILL be available very soon.
But I do have a cure for anyone who is addicted to pornography.........
Imagine Janet Reno in leather ............YEEEEESH!!!!!!!!!
The automobile is even worse. It allows people to go out and visit prostitutes and buy porn, thereby fueling their addictions. One snort of cocaine and some are hooked. Likewise, one visit to a hooker.
There doesn't seem to be anything in her agenda that requires consideration of issues of freedom of speech. That leaves me to wonder what there is in yours that does.
You have information -- that pornography may be addicting in ways that had long been though impossible -- and it should be disseminated. Now, do you agree with this and if you don't why are you opposed to free speech?
Maybe they should inventory everything in their refrigerators as well... It's a proven fact that the food you eat can influence your behavior... Maybe we could cut down on violence by limiting the intake of red meat!

I am gonna need to see some pics posted that back up that claim..........(I'm keeeeeeeeding)
Excuse me, but if all these people are at home, on the internet all day addicted to porn, how are they gonna see the billboards?
Your compassionate and intelligent response is highly indicative of total ignorance of a disease that has infected our culture...viewing porn is but a low level indicator....prostitution, HIV, multiple relationships and leading a secret lifestyle are typical as this disease progresses.
Please do a google on "Sexual Addiction"....perhaps then you will be able to invoke some critical thinking skills.
12 Step programs are always totally self sufficient and are neither funded or in anyway engaged in government entanglement. (Sexaholics Anonymous etc)
The article has little to do with the solution to sexual addiction...but appears to be an attempt by some to garner attention.
In the psychological community, there is significant awareness of the problem and individuals who wish to come out of their denial can find help.
Damn straight! Now excuse me while I go get another fix on the MILF Hunter.
He didn't tell me anything. I just know, because I was there. I'm happy that you and your wife have a good relationship.
And when does Desperate Housewives come on again?
Who said I was opposed to free speech? Your free speech arguments are not directed to, or is there any question of the right of the researcher to publish her findings. And if no one is talking about a prohibition, what First Amendment issues are involved that make it necessary to establish that pornography is not protected?
Do you agree that the information should be disseminated?
LOL!
Not with my tax dollars or using public resources, until I've got some assurance as to the validity of her research and conclusions. Freedom of speech means you can say what you want, it doesn't mean you're entitled to have someone else pay you to say it.
I'm not wild about the billboard idea either. If you became convinced of the validity of the study, however, would you help with spreading the info?
I would. Now, can you please tell me what is going on with these arguments about First Amendment issues if no one is talking about imposing a prohibition?
You got me. I have no idea. The only legislation I have seen requested concern the billboards and the request to gather data from arrests.
Then we have people who are very confused about the issues involved posting on this thread, or they are talking about a prohibition but won't come right out and say so.
