Hello Fellow FReepers. There is a situation here at Ft. Huachuca that requires our attention. This Sunday on 21Nov some anti-military folks are busing like-minded individuals to our front gate to protest our military training center. Here are some sweet things they had to say about our guys:
The Army Intelligence Training Center at Fort Huachuca educates military personnel in torture and these students go on to train people in torture all across the globe. The United States is responsible for using torture and training other governments in the most modern methods of torture.
Abu Ghraib is only one of many places where the U.S. regularly tortures opponents of U.S. policy. The Red Cross believes that the U.S. may have tortured Iraqis at a number of prisons as well as at Guantanamo Bay and the Bagram Control Point in Afghanistan.
Activists in the United States are also tortured by people trained at Fort Huachuca.
Now, as Americans, these folks have the right to stand on the street corner and say anything they darn well please.
(And they sure are brave to stand up to those sick, twisted military folk especially the wives! Dont they know that were all trained by our husbands in torture techniques? We then use these techniques to torture the motor pool and supply wives at the FSG meetings and Tupperware parties... wow, they sure have courage to stand up to such a frightening force!)
Well, if they have the right to demoralize our troops, then we have the right to have a little "Support the Troops" rally.
Who wants in on this?
have a bunch of protest warriors with undapants on their
heads and signs that read "help me, I'm being tortured"
It might help if you told people where it is. what State? What city/town? Highways or routes to it.
This looks like a job for ProtestWarrior.com.

The title is "Attention Arizona Freepers" so I am guessing it is in Arizona.
Sierra Vista AZ
You take highway 90 south (off of I-10) for about 30-40 min. The DUmmies will be protesting the front gate.
Now here's the question that I have to FReepers WHO WILL PROBABLY ATTEND. Are we looking to counter their protest or to buck up the troops? This is important because it will determine the location (which gate) we would like to have the rally.
Love to help you but I got a direct order to steer clear of the main gate during that time. However, I did hear that the guys from the Sorry Gultch were planning a counter demonstration. Now I'd love to see that.
And it's at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. That's why I titled the post, "Attn Arizona FReepers... Ft. Huachuca Needs Our Help."
D'OH! Arizona. Well, can't make it.
Help me. I am being tortured by LIBERALS!!
A Captain told me they were not allowed to torture people.
Since I can't attend, but have an opinion I would say support the troops.
Good luck on either of your decisions though. :)
thank you for your service....
Sierra Vista Arizona about 75 miles SE of Tucson.

Sorry, I hadn't even noticed "Arizona". Long day. Best of luck to you.
I'll be there to photo the Al Queda Quislings and bring a flag. From the stuff I've seen from Spiff in the AZ local the Quislings are in for a surprise.
They play Hillary Duff albums? (c8
Ft. Huachuca Arizona. Approximately 75 miles SE of Tucson. Find Tucson on the map, take I-10 East to the HWY-90 Turn of just before Benson head South for about 28 miles first on the right will be the East Gate, drive past that and the Next gate is the Main Gate that the Al Queda Quislings will be at the you won't be able to miss them or the Freep that we will be given to them.
Army Intelligence Center and School Alumni PING!!!!!
CHAIRBORNE RANGERS!!!
Wish I could help but it's just too far. I'm not a grad of your school at Huachuca, but in my time it was at Ft. Monmouth, N.J. I spent my active duty with the 1st MI Bn.
Best of luck with the libofools.
Liberals will believe anything so long as it is negative to the real world.
Copy of SandRat's post on AZ page:
Main Gate will be closed on Sunday 21 Nov from 0800-1300. Please avoid driving by the the intersection of Buffalo Trail and 7th Stree (Main Gate), use the by-pass and the East Gate.
BG Sumpter, in his role as the Senior Mission Commander for Fort Huachuca, sends the following message to the service members, civilians and family members of Fort Huachuca.
"Activists will be protesting in front of the Main Gate on Sunday, 21 November 2004 from approximately 0930-1230 hours. I direct all service members currently stationed or attending duty at Fort Huachuca, to make all attempts at avoiding contact with the activists and to avoid the area of the Main Gate, or any other location the activists may move to, on Sunday, 21 November 2004. I also encourage service members' families, DA civilians, and their family members to avoid contact with the activists and avoid the location of the protest. Remember part of our mission is to secure the right of our citizens to express their opinions, avoiding confrontation will encourage the peaceful exercise of that right."

*The Army is a value-based institution and trains soldiers to conduct themselves in accordance with the Laws of War.
*Ft. Huachuca is the home of the U.S. Army Intelligence Center and School. The Center does not condone - and has never condoned -- any of the misbehavior witnessed at Abu Ghraib.
*The Army has taken and will continue to take measures to preclude detainee abuse.
Mr. AZHSer will be wherever to help out. Keep us posted by FReepMail.
I have to work in the coffee shop at church:-( Y'all come by Calvary Chapel for a cup!
No--they play "Madeleine Albright's Greatest Hits" all damned day :-P
"They play Hillary Duff albums?"
Thank you for your service.
I was told this afternoon that the Gulch was hosting a rally by a bunch of the local biker clubs to support the Marine Corps' Toys for Tots drive. This has been planned for some time. Bad karma for the liberal loonies that the Sorry Gulch is just across the street from where they plan to hold their collective hissy fit. A lot of them bikers are vets...
Thanks for the ping, my.
I'm going to be in Phoenix then, elsewise I'd throw on a leather jacket and join the bikers at the Sorry Gulch. That's something I wouldn't miss otherwise!
If y'all need bail money, I'll be back late Sunday evening. My boss's husband is an SVPD Reservist, maybe we'll be able to work something out for you.
Ft. Huachuca ping
wish I could help you out. My brother trained there and we visited him on that base. I'm in Jersey and have never been there before, what a beautiful area.
I'm actually a little sorry to miss the show out front, but I feel that it's more important for the guys in green to feel the love.
You guys be safe down south. We look forward to the report afterwards. You're fightin' the good fight. Kudo's all around.
I think I need to go visit the Gulch and a couple of biker hangouts in Tombstone tomorrow. I want to make sure news of the Toys for Tots rally is spread far and wide...
I have this really bad picture right now of a bunch of really ugly bikers wearing women's panties on their heads.
Guess it gets added to tomorrow's talking points.
Get the word out!!! :)
"Attention Arizona Freepers" didn't clue you in?
After I commented I saw everyone else had said the same thing. I apolgize. (But you'll always remember where Ft. Huachuca is now!) :)
Bwaaahaaahaaa. God bless the folks over at the sorry gulch.
A load of Pro Military bikers ought to shake up any out of town liberals!
I can help ya out a little. If you're coming from Michigan, take I'75 south till you hit the border (Ohio that is). Stop at the first gas station you see and ask the attendent which way to Arizona (he'll probaby suggest you stay on I'75 for a little while longer). Good luck, hope to see you there..... :)
Mr. AZHSer will meet you guys and will be bringing a digital camera too. He has to drop us at church at about 8. Where are y'all meeting? CCRC Headquarters might be a good meeting point. There is a security camera there to watch the vehicles.
Bump!
Is there another FReep getting organized around here? I'm starting to get a bit deflated. (On the other hand, I'm thinking about taking a chair down to the Sorry Glutch parking lot just to enjoy the show. The more bikers that show up, the more the fun! lol!)
Where's that?
I plan to show up near the Gulch a few minutes after nine.
