Well...knock me over with a feather...

a thread is already going on this.
VERY misleading headline. It was more like fans brawl with Pacers. And what about that thug Ben Wallace?? If anything he instigated the whole thing. Unbelievable. They ought to call it "When Fans Attack". If anyone here wants to solely condemn the Pacer players for this---think again. When you're being physically assaulted by an arena of 20,000+ (beer bottles thrown at you, chairs being thrown at you, fans wandering out on the court and throwing punches, attacking you from behind)---how would you react?
I saw that on ESPN
Hey has Detriot burn down to the ground YET
When you make morons PAY a lot of money to watch morons who MAKE a lot of money, this is inevitable. Lotsa morons in one place is never a good idea.

LIFETIME BAN FROM THE NBA
(fortunately the NBA wont last more than another few years anyway)
Inebriated Rich Obese Suburbanites hit the Palace of Auburn Hills or Joe Louis Arena, they've never picked up a basketball in their life and their out their heckling, jeering "Thugball" and sometimes, when it comes to tossing beer at players they go to far and the players are forced to defend themselves.
From a song by a stand-up guy: I love the Detroit Pistons of basketball. They have so many souveniers I collect them all...
I have Piston shirts!
I have Piston shorts!
I have Piston ashtrays!
I have Piston beer mugs and sometimes people don't even notice!...
sorry to detract from serious conversation but I didn't think I'd ever come across another Piston thread.
I guess everyone's biggest mistake is thinking all these black NBA players are role models. They're not. They're too busy getting tattooed from head to foot and mouthing off at their fellow players and coaches. If one isn't getting busted for pot, some other is being charged for manslaughter, drunk driving, drug possession, or rape. One of the plain and simple reasons why I stopped watching NBA basketball. BTW, isn't Artest the one who wanted to take a month off from the NBA season to promote his "rap" album? I think he is going to get his wish.
These people have turned this game into a nightmare.
Keep your families away.
A pleasant evening for all I guess.
Don't go. don't watch !!!Don't go. don't watch !!!Don't go. don't watch !!!
I was an avid springsteen fan,(30 concerts)after this last year i gave him up..no more bruce for me,i had a chance for a good seat i said NO THANKS.i Boycott french products all of them.it's time the NBA gets the message
I appreciate the fans and players on both sides for reminding us that a middle-aged bimbo dropping her towel in front of Terrell Owens is simply not an issue in the big scheme of things.
Today the professionals, and many college players, have turned it into a farce.
