Did Jermaine O'Neal go into the stands? I saw he popped that fool who was down on the court. Once the drunken Detroit fans are on the floor, their fair game in my book. As for the Dorks who went into the stands....Ahhhh what does it matter. The Players union will get them off the hook.

Interesting factoid heard this afternoon while watching the talking heads discuss this on Fox:

40% of players in the NBA have a criminal record.

Artest, Jackson, and Oneal should be banned from the NBA for life. All three and the fans who provoked them should be arressted, charged and locked up as long as possible.

I hope the NBA goes extinct.

NBA should be suspended period! Just show the last minute of the game...thats all thats counts....the game and salaries have gotten out of hand...now they want to capture the "professional" wrestling crowd...

I'm shocked. These NBA players are of such fine reputation. They do not gamble, drive drunk, get arrested, have children out of wedlock, curse, abuse their wives, lie or take drugs. I'd never expect them to behave like this.

hey, If anyone expected any law-abiding behavior from the state that showcased the likes of Bobby Knight & Alfred Kinsey, then your expectations don't match Indiana reality.

Sports should have more fighting. All this gentleman athlete nonsense never existed. In competition, sometimes fights break out, especially when it is a really intense game.

If I was thatfan in the third row who Artest attacked, I'd be suing big time.

The NBA, NFL and to a lesser extent Baseball seem like scenes stolen from the Burt Renolds movie "Longest Yard".

Most of the players look and act like they have a long criminal record.
