YAHOOOO! I love Alberta. In my mind they should be their own country. They are so unlike the rest of Canada. All the conservatives could move there, still have their "free" healthcare, and be part of a rightous country.

I have visited Alberta several times and have many friends in Calgary. It's definitely a conservative province, where the edicts and fiscal policies of the national government in Toronto are thoroughly disliked. There's a particular hatred for (and widespread non-compliance with) the national gun registry.
Not to mention the acute revulsion they have for Quebec and its inhabitants...

Gotta love those in the Western part of Canada. The loony leftists are mainly in Quebec...the frog pond. Most of Canada would be conservative compared to the french.
