Same here. All must know Firefox's greatness and be converted... :-D

And then they must learn the greatness of extensions - like AdBlock and Bugmenot (the first blocks ads, the second allows automated filling in of those 'log in before you can read' stories.) And for those using large monitors, 'imageZoom' is a great tool.

Oooh, do they have a Bugmenot extension for Firefox 1.0? I'm SO all over that.

It's less vulnerable than IE (for now), takes fewer system resources so it runs faster, and displays virtually every webpage I've found yet just fine. And tabbed browsing is *wonderful*. Right now, it's just a better mousetrap.

We'll see with Microsoft comes out with for IE 7; given their past track record, it will have some nice features and do a lot of what Firefox does, but it'll take 3x the resources to do it!

I think Firefox has built in zooming of any image on the net (or maybe I got that from an extension).

Whatever the case, I love it.

Some things on the net are tiny (like weather maps etc.) that I want to zoom in on. Firefox is great for that.

gee, i just figured out how to use the tabs, you mean theres even more? nice thing about tabs is i can browse through fr and load up a bunch of threads to read and then go off line and read them, thus not tieing up my phone line for long periods of time. Couldn't do that with IE since the stupid thing would start acting up and not responding if to much was loaded.

Bugmenot

Didn't even know about that feature. Been using Firefox for about two weeks or so and I love it. IE usually would freeze or have a fatal error at least once a week.
