Well what do you know, it is a sad fact that French financiers in their infinite greed always seem to get their thingy stuck in the wringer. I guess everyone here knows of the many French Banks who so willingly laundered for the Nazis in WWII; and now it comes out that at least one of THOSE banks is involved in the Oil for food scandal. Here is some more info on this and other French banks:

BBC News

and an exerpt:
"...The French banks being sued in New York include: Caisse Nationale Credit de Credit Agricole, Caisse Nationale unit Credit Agricole Indosuez, Credit Lyonnais, Nantexis, Paribas, Societe Generale, Banque Nationale de Paris (now BNP Paribas) and Credit Commercial de France.

Crooked, collaborating, antisemitic, cheese-eating, surrender monkeys. The list grows daily.

The French love blood thirsty dictators. I don't know, maybe the French are a bunch of wino's or descentants of wino's with fetal alchohol syndrone. Or ever since they made the deal with the devil. French collaboration with the NAZI's, they have replaced their souls with the worship of money.

The entire French nation is wallowing in filth and sleaze, with the sleaziest Frenchman being Chriac himself.
Hey Chriac, how does it feel like, to have your master, Saddam, in jail awaiting trial and a likely death sentence?

Well, the good thing to come out of the Iraq war, WAS A COMPLETE AND ACCURATE EXPOSE' OF THE FRENCH. And there is probably more that they don't want anyone to know about. The French remind me of the Clintons in ways -- they pander to the worlds worst and most despotic governments -- in hopes of favors, money, etc.

They are bad people -- with focus on the Chirac government of course. I am sure there are Frenchmen who do not like Chirac, nor how he has let France become infested with Muslims...lots of bones to pick. But we never hear from the French people, do we?? Kinda communistic, wouldn't you say? We only hear from their Chirac-supporting, anti-American newspapers (LaMonde)----- what is wrong with this picture?

I'm currently reading "The French Betrayal of America" by Kenneth Timmerman and highly recommend it. The oil for food scam is just the tip of the iceberg.

Some of these Banks are enormous. According to the WSJ's list of the Worlds' 100 Largest Public Financial Companies, Credit Agricole was ranked 10th.
BNP Paribas was 11th.
Societe Generale was 22nd.

To compare Bank of America is ranked at #14, Wells Fargo is #35.
