I thought the same thing, but the REAL danger for him is in the civil courts. They will prove that had the dad just run inside, this poor perp would still be alive. The dad was intent on doing the deceased harm. ONeal chased him down and killed him, on purpose. The perp, afterall, didn't intend to KILL Oneal, just rob him. The perps family will win a handsome civil reward in negotiation.

I don't know about that. Per the article, the surviving perps may be taking the murder rap:

Medina said the pair are charged with armed robbery, weapons offenses and possibly a felony murder charge in connection with their cohort’s death.

Sounds like the Trenton DA may be fed up.
