How sad it is you would say something like that. Compare what you did to defeat John Kerry and weigh that against what John O'neill did. Are you so shallow as to believe John's party affiliation belittles in any why what he just did for this nation, not to mention the vast majority of Vietnam Veterans?
This is the exact reason why John kerry taught me to hate politics 30 some years ago. It's filled with weasels who shout "boo" in the dark and feel like they've made a difference.
Look at the man, and not meaningless labels. Martin Luther once said "I'd rather be ruled by an honest Turk than a dishonest Christian." I and I for one couldn't agree more.
This country was founded on freedom of thought, pursuit of Veritas (Truth), and in this postmodernistic era truth has become as meaningless as being anything in this country.
John O'neill, for a moment in time, inspired men and women to come together in a moment of history to say "No, Sen. Kerry, that's not how it happened." and the MSM is sinking like the Titanic that it is. How can you say such a preposterous statement after what has happened?
Enjoy the fresh air my friend.

"However, I can't say that I wouldn't love to see John O'Neill run for office. Anything available down in Texas for him? Attorney General perhaps? Or, better yet, if Senator Hutchison runs for Governor, perhaps he could be appointed to the Senate? Wouldn't you love to see floor debates between him and Kerry? lol"

My comment on John's party affiliation was in reference to this statement above..
I hope the planets align for you now that you can see the reason.

A Republican Governor is not going to appoint a Democrat to fill a vacant Senate seat that belongs to a Republican Senator..That is reality.

I am mystified at your unfair weighing of my sense of importance in the election process ( I have none, zilch..)

I am too angry at your outrageous and hurtful inference that I do not appreciate the profound difference the Swift Boat Veterans and John O'Neill made in this election to properly reply..They are my heroes.

The older Free Republic Vietnam Veteran members on this board know how much I appreciate it..There are many here to vouch for me.
