They have a tremendous investment in seeing themselves as morally superior to "worldly" (their term for non-JW) people. They think they have created their own little 50's sitcom world of perfect families. That is part of their appeal. From the outside it looks so orderly and peaceful and wholesome. So someone who brings an abuse situation to them is flatly telling them something that they do not want to hear.
And combined with their patria potestas model of paternal "scriptural headship" you have an environment that will attract sanctimonious bullies.
You are living in a fantasy world. You are spreading disinformation about something you know nothing about. I am a Witness and do not think that I am superior to anyone else and no other Witnesses that I know have that attitude.
