Granted, and I know a few in my own parish - though I have a hard time understanding how they can support pro-abortion politicians and still be Christian.
This particular author, however, is so full of hatred that I have to question whether he is in fact a Christian.

Yeah, the article has some pretty despicable stuff. I guess I'm just a little sensitive because I've only recently become a Christian and was a liberal Democrat prior to the Lord finding me. I think I might have been driven away had I been subjected to a litmus test other than that of accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. I also know that the woman in the cube next to me stopped going to a conservative evangelical church that she loved when the pastor endorsed Bush.
