Am I the only one who thinks that Kerry is behind the Green/Libertarian recount effort in Ohio?

Someone on another thread said they heard on Hannity's radio show that Kerry-Edwards had lawyers "join in" the suit yesterday. Wonder what that exactly means--is Kerry now willing to throw away any political capital he has (for 2008) and demand a recount himself instead of hiding behind these fringe groups, OR, is his tactic to try to overturn the results by pretending to be doing this for the greenies and libertarians, who of course have NO CHANCE of winning the state in a recount.

I think Kerry desperately wants to be in it and may indeed be behind it. I suspect he will have no party backing to really create a stink, though. In a way, the real power of the party got exactly what they wanted, 2008 preserved for Spawnette o'Satan. There's also the fact that a loud stink could truly be the death knell of the Democrat party as it currently exists. I don't think the country will tolerate another GoreShow at this point, especially after it's already done except for the "signing of the papers."

If we had any real investigative journalists in this country who were not blinded by their partisanship, they would "follow the money" on this.

If he is, he'll have to go public or else forego the recount.

No, this place is full of tin foil hat folks. However I must say that if you want to view thousands of tin foil hats people in their full glory, wander over to DU. Karl Rove, John Kerry and the MSM are working together to screw America.

I'm sure you're not the only one who thinks that, but I don't believe that Kerry is behind it at all.

Its such a silly effort that it would damage Kerry's reputation among even the vast majority of democrats who do have the realization that they didn't get as many votes this time.

But he can't totally denounce them either, as these wacky democrats are the manpower of their party, so Kerry will have to humour them for a while on this.

You're not the only one. Especially as he has changed his rhetoric since his "concession" speech. At the risk of being the ultimate flip-flopper I believe he would do it.

No- the DUmmies have been assured by OldLeftyLawyer that the civil actions can't be filed until the count is certified. Then Kerry will pounce - filing for recounts due to fraud. They will use that debunked statistics article from California and anecdotal reports of machine malfunctions to challenge. December 6th is the day! I say we have a holiday on December 6th to celebrate nothing happening.

Nope. Those people couldn't raise $.45 prior to the election. When they wanted recount funds, they collected them in approx. 45 minutes. Whole thing is petty, stOOpid, nasty, transparent, senseless and a waste of time. Somebody oughta take Tehraaaaaaaaayza's checkbook away from her. "No sense throwing away bad money after bad money, Terri."
