Meanness is by no means limited to liberal women.
Sometimes I think women in general are more prone to it than men because they tend to let their emotions (envy, in particular) get the better of them.
I'm not sure the problem is gender related. I think it's more that liberals work from fairly severe disadvantages with respect to both logic and the facts.
Lawyers have the old saw, "If you have the facts on your side, pound the law. If, however, you don't, then pound the table."
The left is hystrionic because they seldom have the facts, and logic takes a back seat to what 'feels right'. People tend to beat up on Republicans for 'backing down' to such tactics, though they almost always have both the facts and logic on their side.
Can you blame such people?
In this case, however, we can't allow the theft of this election to stand, because its a tacit agreement allowing the left to cheat as they will for every vote.
The kinship that the left has with Islam is no big surprise to me. The left can't tolerate the right. The discrimination that a lefty can get away with would never fly coming from the right.
You look at the left today, and they are literally slaughtering future lefties, and at the same time, going farther left in order to 'save themselves' than they already are. At least Muslim's give you the chance to convert before they try to kill you. The left will kill you if being pregnant is going to ruin them for bikinis for a while, or make you miss your prom.
Women have their issues, but they aren't crazy. The left is certifiable.

I was administrative assistant to the Women's Studies Program for over 20 years. Talk about liberals. But I found most of them, at least professors, to be decent folks and they were always nice to me (except for a couple of them; unfortunately one of them was my last boss!!!)but I always treated them respectfully and with a lot of humor. I didn't push my views but they knew I was a Christian and figured it out for themselves.

Don't say that! I have one son that's as conservative as I am, one who doesn't go either way and apparently doesn't care about politics at all, and one other who is a liberal! He's a very loving young man and becoming very successful but he's been brainwashed by people around him who are important to him and he's against many of the things I hold dear. But, I still hold out HOPE for him.
And don't forget the pony tail!

If your kids are becoming liberal because of their school in spite of your parenting, then you need to change your parenting.
I'm not saying all parents of all children who become liberals are bad parents.
But I do reiterate: liberalism is the result of bad parenting. There are lots of conservatives out there who use liberalism in their parenting.
One example among thousands: "sharing". Put a bunch of 4 year olds in a room, with mommies and daddies sitting around, and the biggest issue that will quickly arise will be sharing. All the parents, of every political stripe, will soon be yelling "Now, Johnnie, you share your toys with him." All of which soon engenders all manner of manipulative techniques among the kids as they vie to acquire toy-time by means OTHER than ownership.
Children should not be made to share. It is a corrupting practice. They should, rather, be made to experience the results of their decisions. The difference is huge.
Teach Johnnie that he owns the truck. He doesn't have to share it if he doesn't want to. (Property rights). Bobby owns his truck. He has an equal right to say no to Johnnie.
If Johnnie wants other kids to want to play with him, he might want to share. Or, if he WANTS to be nice to another kid who doesn't have a truck, he can share. Mom and dad certianly can explain to him why he OUGHT to share. But let him decide.
If he finds himself playing alone, and that bothers him, them mommy just says "You may want to behave different."
A child who understands tha value of property will CHOOSE to share, either through genuine sympathy for those who don't own a truck (which sympathy is not produced by making him share) or through a utilitarion recognition that he is alone when he hoards his trucks.
This is a huge difference between these two approaches, and one that is overlooked by all types of parents, and is emblematic of all sorts of parenting practices that tend to make kids view society through some rubric other than individual responsibility.
However, Liberalism claimed my daughter and conservatism maintained with my son. Main reason? Don't know for sure, but believe (mainly liberal) female educators have a stronger cultural influence on female students than on male students.
Not one to blame schools OR PARENTS first, but can only relate the experience w/my 2 kids from a conservative household.
Hey, even though my daughter's liberal, she's OK in my book. (not all conservatives dis-own liberal kids - sorry Libs, just popped your ballon).
