KIEV (Reuters) - The Supreme Court on Thursday barred official publication of results in Ukraine's contested presidential election that officials said handed victory to Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich. The court also said it would examine on Nov. 29 a complaint from opposition challenger Viktor Yushchenko alleging fraud in the poll. The action delays any move to inaugurate Yanukovich and keeps outgoing President Leonid Kuchma in power for now.
"The court ruling bars the Central Election Commission from officially publishing the results of the election and proceeding with any other action connected with this," a statement from the court said.
Praying for the Ukrainians bump ... and Happy Thanksgiving to FReepers and freedom lovers everywhere.
The Court is controlled by Yutschenko supporters. Before the elections, the court prevented about half a million ukrainians living in Russia to vote.

I didn't know that.
Walesa was urging non-violence, then he decided not to interfere. I hope they won't turn this into a civil war.

The fact the government has been criminally seized by thugs who have brought in heavily armed foreign thug troops to back up their coup is already an act of war!
"who have brought in heavily armed foreign thug troops "
There is absolutely no proof of this.
thats a good point. when russian troops are being used, it shows who the givernment has allegiance too. kuchma and yanukovych should have allegiance to ukraine not to russia.

Glad you are there on the ground, KGB-Colonel Putin.
[But I shall stand by what I posted]
LOL! All of a sudden it doesn't seem like a good idea if it doesn't favor the Putin candidate, huh?
