Fellow Freepers, Dog Gone and I are attorneys. We had the term "fiduciary duty" drilled into us with rusty spikes in law school. The trustees of these public pension funds are playing with fire.
Consider how the big buck$ law firms went after Big Tobacco and, after they won that fight, tried to find a replacement target in the gun industry. Lawyers playing in that league are truly mercenary.
Somebody just volunteered to be lunch.
