Depends on the person(experienced marksman/hunter or not), place(Low-Highlands; close-by or way out), game(bag limits) and weather(survival factor). ie; It's subject to the objective.

Being in familiar territory while being somewhat experienced and with no weather changes forecast for days and not in a camp setting would make 20 plus rounds more than needed but, in my run on humble opinion, subject to whatever burden you are willing to carry.
