Dittoes my folks. Last Christmas .45MAN (hubby) and my Dad got into a shouting match when Dad referred to president Bush as "Your war-monger president." My Mom called for a truce and a promise to never discuss politics again. We've complied, but Dad still manages to get in some digs.

At 74 and 79 years old I know I'm not going to change them, bless their hearts.

Wanna send her off the deep end?

Here's what I did for some very liberal friends of mine.

I got one of Rush's books, set it up on top of a piece of furniture in the living room and set up a couple of candles (one on either side). When they visited, I lit the candles and commented loudly on my 'shrine.'

Works like a charm.
