We are hoping the Muslims will separate church and state, remember?

Impossible! Read the "holy" Koran and see why.

This is a tremendously courageous step for these men to make. They are making themselves and their families targets in order to be heard. I can't even measure the amount of respect I have for them.

I don't believe a single word of their blathering crap! The Koran tells them (in fact it insists and blesses their deception) that it's supercalifragilistlically AOK to deceive the sub-human pigs and monkeys of the Infidel world, and that's precisely what they're doing right now! WAKE UP and smell the rotting roses !!!

Proof that not all Muslims are getting the picture:

From the Jakarta Post 11/26/04

Indonesians protest U.S.-led attack in Fallujah

JAKARTA (AP): About 10,000 Indonesians demonstrated in Jakarta on Sunday against the U.S.-led offensive in Fallujah, in one of the biggest anti-Iraq war protests in the world's most populous Muslim nation.

The demonstrators chanted, "Keep the spirit of jihad alive! We will fight back!" and carried banners reading, "How many more Muslims will die because of President George Bush?"

Young men pasted stickers of Bush portrayed as a monkey and as Adolf Hitler on passing cars and buses in front of the U.S. Embassy.

Opinion polls have shown that many Indonesians have turned against the United States because they see the U.S.-led wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as anti-Muslim.

Anti-U.S. sentiments flared up again when U.S. troops invaded the Iraqi rebel-held city of Fallujah, known as the "city of mosques," early this month in an offensive aimed at re-establishing government control ahead of January elections.

"My heart burns with anger to see what is happening in Fallujah," Rahmat Hidayat, a 29-year-old teacher, said at the rally. "America must pay!"

Police estimated that 10,000 people took part in the rally - one the largest in Indonesia against the Iraq war. About 8,000 to 10,000 people joined an anti-war protest last year, while other rallies have been smaller.

Sunday's protest was sponsored by the rapidly growing Islam-based Justice and Prosperity Party (PKS). (***)

qed: Proof that at least 10,000 Indonesian Muslims have no moral or ethical judgement whatsoever.

It's a little pathetic that they have to go to the UN to get protection from their own religion.

The intellectuals are a bit more in tune with the 21st century, and have probably had more exposure to modern civilization. Yet even though Muslims, they cannot get control of their own imams or their own religion.

Nor can they go to their own governments, who are so enmeshed with the fundie imams that the intellectuals have chosen to do an end-run and go straight to the UN.

Next they'll be branded as infidels and apostates, with the inevitable fatwas issued against them.

they are just choosing sides, they can see which side is going to win. They want to remain alive to subvert the west for an eventual takeover. They can see that the west wont roll over easily, they are hoping that their great grand children will be able to take over the world.
