Stories like these remind me of the book, "Not Without My Daughter," later made into a movie with Sally Field. It should be required reading for any non-Muslim woman thinking about marrying a Muslim.

I was thinking of "Not Without My Daughter" when I read this story. My daughter had befriended a Muslim boy in the condo unit where we used to live. Thank God he found out she was one-fourth Jewish and discontinued the friendship. Which tells you a little more about this "religion of peace".

Abortion is not forbidden in Islam. It's considered acceptable *when the husband wants it.* The Muslims developed most of the pre-technological-era abortion and birth control techniques, largely to control which harem women would produce an heir and which wouldn't, as well as more practical applications like keeping camels from foaling during long caravan trips.

The article posted here just says near Göteborg, on the west coast. Since I spent a lot of time in that area this summer, I was curious about which town. So I googled her name and found some Swedish articles which indicate that she is from Kungsbacka.
