**"He did nothing, really.."
He made us laugh, he made us cry............that is, he made us laugh, until we cried.
Thanks Johnny, we hardly knew you...... Lets keep it that way.**
How any Americans could ever of thought My Little (sorry silky) Pony could have had aspirations to the great Statesman Dick Cheney's job beggar's belief. Though I suppose to some he is as cute as a button. Myself I just shudder at the thought.
Also on a lighter note effeminate posing Edwards was not attractive, sexy or had better hair than your manly testosterone oozing VP.

Maybe there'll be an opening in Tulsa. I heard he's good at laying on hands.Pray he doesn't get a law license in Oklahoma. That's the only downside to Edwards returning to the private sector.

I think Cher is on a perpetual farewell tour. Let's hope it doesn't take the Breck girl as long to fade into obscurity.
How can we miss you when you'll never go away???

Edwards is a far cry from the #1 trial lawyer, but your point is well taken.

He ran for president in the first place and did not run for reelection because the wise people of North Carolina had already let it be known that he had no chance of being reelected, unlike Joe Lieberman. Edwards, like his running mate, was a failed, do nothing Senator. Unlike the Bay Staters, the North Carolinians cared.

I had the same thought. Edward's will go back to happily chasing ambulances and never be heard from again in national politics.
To: Dr. Scarpetta
I wonder how he got elected the first time, no competition ?
To: John Lenin
Edwards needs to stay home and put in some "quality" time with his kids while his wife recuperates. I have my doubts that a pretty boy like him wants to leave Washington and go back home to live.

Well, think about it. He's not going to make them mad, afterall, theyre so stupid they waited an hour to see the biggest loser South Carolina ever produced. (Yes, SC is where he was born. Nobody in NC with half a brain would claim him.)

Greeted by an enthusiastic crowd, John Edwards kicked off a farewell tour as U.S. senator Monday but left little doubt he wasn't saying goodbye to politics. He might as well. He wasn't even going to win his senate seat back if he had run for reelection. He didn't help Kerry carry NC. In fact W won exactly the same proportion of the vote (56%) in NC in both 200 and 2004. Kerry got the 0.9% of the vote that Nader got in 2000 so Kerry got 44% in 2004 while Gore got 43% in 2000.

whether he realizes it or not, bambi's political future is, without a doubt, over.
other than politically, his future is bright as long as there are ambulances . . . . .

Being an extremely macho guy mysely,(well definately not a sissy) I really never noticed all that testosterone oozing out of the Vice President. Come to think of it though, his wife Lynne, does seem to be a very contented lady, and smiles a lot.

"In order for us to unite the country ... those voters have to believe that our values my values and the values of other Democratic leaders are the same values they believe in. That means we have to be touching them, reaching out to them." - Quote from Edwards' speech
Note that it's NOT that the left's values should reflect the contry's - but rather that the people BELIEVE that their values are the same as those represented by the dimocrat 'leadership'.

Lol, he has such delicate, small hands.
He should go on tour with Al Sharpton.
