Very profound. And you are only repeating it three times.

Just kidding, it happens to us all, once in a while.

Anyone else think he's put on an obscene amount of weight lately? He's in danger of becoming the Marlon Brando of punk.

Three chords, no talent.

In the Rock 'n' Roll Beyond, Joey Ramone wants a piece of this dweezil.

What else would you expect from the guy who sang "American Idiot", a song that rails against America's "redneck agenda".

Only an American Idiot would consider 54% "overwhelming".

"But of those people, 54 per cent ended up voting for Kerry, which is pretty overwhelming."

So 54 percent of the vote for Kerry is overwhelming. But 52 percent of the vote for Bush is meaningless.

I so don't get liberal math...

My plan to rectify the situation? I'm going to donate the same amount of money that I spend on the ticket to my local Republican Party. : )

I did the same thing all fall - I'm a jewelry maker and travel to craft shows. Whenever someone with a Kerry button on made a purchase, we noted it down and promptly donated the purchase price to the W campaign. :-)

Idiots are among us. While walking in Boston today approaching me was a couple. The only part of their conversation I heard was this scuzz utter "People in the South, especially Louisiana, have IQ's about 50." He was with some gal who then laughed. My experience: it is his way of trying to get "some" tonight. Of course, they'd be the first to criticize a Republican, or anyone else for that matter, target a minority group with similiar nastiness. I loathe liberals.

Listen closely to their lyrics of 'American Idiot'. Disturbing pure DU leftwing trash.

Don't want to be an American idiot.
Don't want a nation thats under the new media.
And can you hear the sound of hysteria?
The subliminal mindf**k America.

Welcome to a new kind of tension.
All across the alien nation.
Everything isn't meant to be okay.
Television dreams of tomorrow.
We're not the ones who're meant to follow.
Well that's enough to argue.

Well maybe I'm the faggot America.
I'm not a part of a redneck agenda.
Now everybody do the propaganda.
And sing along in the age of paranoia.

Welcome to a new kind of tension.
All across the alien nation.
Everything isn't meant to be okay.
Television dreams of tomorrow.
We're not the ones who're meant to follow.
Well that's enough to argue.

Don't want to be an American idiot.
One nation controlled by the media.
Information age of hysteria.
It's going out to idiot America.

Welcome to a new kind of tension.
All across the alien nation.
Everything isn't meant to be okay.
Television dreams of tomorrow.
We're not the ones who're meant to follow.
Well that's enough to argue.

You mean the First National or the Confederate Battle Flag? The Stars and Bars was the nick name of the First National Flag.

By the way, this clown in the article is nothing more than proof that the gene pool is scraping the bottom of the barrel. The best part of him was left on the sheets.

I think Green Day should be put on trial for crimes against music.

I concur completely. Then we put them on trial for their entire act. Nothing screams "LOSER" more than a bunch of washed up singers in their mid-thirties trying to pretend that they're still a band of 17 year old punk rockers.

A sign of a good band is its ability to change and mature with time. That is why the Beatles of Golden Slumbers/The End are not the Beatles of I Saw Her Standing There. It's why Led Zeppelin Physical Grafitti is not Led Zeppelin of LZ I. With Green Day they're still churning out the same old crap in the same old style, only now it's politicized rants directed at kids by a bunch of washed up wannabes who ceased to be kids in their own right some 15 years ago but nevertheless pretend that they still are.

I'm sure George Bush would be hurt that some punk Brit kid thinks of him.

That's the truly sad thing about this group. Billie Joe isn't a punk kid. He's an adult in his mid thirties who likes to play dressup and pretend he's a 17 year old. He's a veritable personification of the word "loser."
