The unhinged liberals are not only viciously demonizing Dr. Rice, they are also attacking Hispanics Gonzalez (Attorney General) and Gutierrez (Commerce). They cannot tolerate any minority from succeeding in a Conservative Administration...it goes against their plan to keep minorities dependent on their hand-outs for votes. No, this is the real Democratic party, the Robert Byrd Party who has been disguising itself for decades as the party of minorities and inclusion. They are revolting!

For many many years I would have completely disagreed with you.

But, then along came a man named Bush43. He put a lot of women and a whole number of minorities in his cabinet and other positions of serious power. This should be a time of great rejoicing in America - minorities and women holding such high powered positions and making decisions that will affect their groups. It opens the door by showing business and other parts of society that all of these minority groups are not usless and should not be shunned. And in the end paves the way for creating a stong and unified society.

And since Bush43 has put these great people into these positions in Government, all I have heard from the "left" are serious put downs and slams on the appointed minorities.

I personally find that what has gone with Dr. Rice is absolutely disgusting. I find few even in the press who properly use "Dr" instead of "Ms." when discussing Dr. Rice. They all should be damn ashamed of themselves and I sure hope that one of these days the American people see through what the left has been doing to the minorities in Bush43's cabinet.

A defender of the liberals on Sean Hannity claimed the Clinton administration was the "blackest ever." Funny, aside from Ron Brown, who died early in the Clinton era, I can't think of any blacks who had any say in White House policy. Christopher, Albright, Bentsen, Rubin, Summers, Aspin, Perry, Cohen, Reno, Babbit.

There were a few, but with strictly administrative roles in modern cabinet positions: Espy for two years in agriculture, until he was caught taking payoffs from a fried chicken manufacturerer. (Leave it to Good ol' boy Bill to leave Espy in charge of that.) Alexis Herman, the invisible Labor secretary for two years. And the two lowest-ranking cabinet posts Clinton for kept black people: HHS and Veterans' Affairs. On average, there were three blacks in the Clinton cabinet at any given time. The highest post any of them held was commerce. There were no Hispanics after 1998, although Federico Pena and Henry Cisneros had low-ranking posts for a couple years.
