Accepted....and....I really do feel for your position.
I know it's tough. The article was about a Mill valley family in Marin county....the 1st or 2nd richest county in the country.... the median house price is close to $800,000 for a shack....so hubby probably had a very, very good job.......I don't care,I'm retired!
I'm lucky enough to work out of the house. So Day Care was never needed.
We lived in North Carolina for a few years. We were fine there on one salary and had a lot of breathing room.
We came back to NJ to tend to family. This state is has the potential of bankrupting us. Hence the defensiveness and hostility in my posts. (on this thread)
