Four Batch 1 Type 22 frigates are operated by the Brazilian Navy – Greenhalgh (ex-HMS Broadsword), Dodsworth (ex-HMS Brilliant), Bosisio (ex-HMS Brazen) and Rademaker (ex-HMS Battleaxe).

Battleaxe: Laid Down: 4th February 1976, Launched: 18th May 1977, Commissioned: 28th March 1980

Nice looking boat. I wonder where the hole is? Article says its not visable from the air, so they must have been using unfused or dummy rounds.

On another ship. Thet's not the Rademaker. It's a Tyoe 22 Batch 3, still in RN service, not a Batch 1

4.5" turret on foredeck, Goalkeeper CIWS aheah of foremast, open area with Harpoon launchers between CIWS and missile FC director, enlarged helo hanger. batch 1 batch 3
