My guess is that any involvement by the Kerry campaign has more to do with maintaining Kerry's viability with the base for 2008 should he decides to run again, and nothing to do with contesting the outcome of this election. The dem base is beginning to get cranky that Kerry isn't following through on his promise to "make sure all the votes are counted." Just a guess, but now he can say, hey, I tried.
