I know this is going to be an unpopular answer. But, is the Islamic relgion dangerous to world peace? No. But mutation and hijacking of the Islamic religion by terrorists who hide under the cloak of religion are VERY dangerous to world peace!

Have you read the Koran? No one denies that the terrorists are the Islamic fundamentalists, i.e. they practice the fundamentals of Islam, they practice what the Koran teaches.
If anyone is attempting to "hijack the Islamic religion," it's the ones who claim to be peaceful Muslims.
It's about a race between the recruitment of angry young men as suicide bombers, versus the liberation of frightened young women as full-fledged citizens in their societies.
