Tulsa, OK-The police chief made some suprising comments about terrorists living in Tulsa and Kansas on Wednesday in a speech to the local Rotary Club but left without providing an explanation.

Tulsa Police Chief Dave Been said foriegn terrorists with ties to Al Qaida were in Tulsa, and Wichita, Kansas and that he had seen evidence that terrorists wanted to attack America's heartland.

'Yes, there are Al Qaida cells in Tulsa and Wichita that can be very dangerous,' Been told the downown Tulsa Rotary Club, according to clips aired on KRMG. 'Of course, I cannot go into specifics,' he said.

Chief Been did not respond to requests for comment from the Associated Press. Tulsa police spokeswoman Sgt. Kim Pressley referred all calls to Chief Been.

Kerry Pettingill, the director of the state homeland security office, told he did not know why Chief Been would make such comments because he did not know the sources on which the chief based his claims.

Gary Johnson, the FBI spokesman in Oklahoma, told the AP there has been no change to previous FBI statements that the threat of terror in Oklahoma is not imminent and that the FBI cannot comment on any counterterror investigations it routinely conducts.

'We have bad guys here in Tulsa, terrorists than can do us harm,' Chief Been said in his remarks, adding that he had 'very good information that terrorists really do want to hit the heartland, the middle of the United States, becuase we dont feel very vulnerable.'

It's not only closing the borders, it's throwing out those who should not be here to begin with!

That is the part of the task that neither Dem nor Rep seem to have the F'n guts to do!

I have been thinking about this problem. Maybe the way to attack it is to ask Americans if they want the same type of society that Mexico has. You have the peasants that do manual labor and then there are the Elites. It is an anathema to the very foundation of American society.

No. Not until something nuclear or biological is detected exploding... and then it's too late.

Anyone who believes that Murrah/OKC bombing was an isolated event of 2 white guys should turn their brains over to Chief Moose who also was looking for 2 white guys in the WDC sniper case.

Terrorists may act in small groups, but Islamofanatical terrorism is not isolated. It needs funding, participants, sponsors, connections, etc.

We need to start perceiving the big picture or we suffer death (as a civilization) by a thousand cuts. We need to realize the vastness of the Islamofanatical threat. It isn't going away. It isn't shrinking.

There's a B&W map of the US with AQ cells that began to circulate after 9/11 showing AQ or other Muslim Terror groups in OKC, TX...etc.

This should be no surprise to anybody in the SW USA. As well as the DUH?...factor of the ME connection to the OKC Bombing.

I worked closely with 13 muzzies. The number that are here that have no allegiance to America is astounding. They all need to be rounded up have their computers confiscated and deported, imprisoned or executed for treason!!

Neal Boortz has been talking about similar. I have to agree with his assessment that it will take another significantly large Islamofanatical attack on US soil, killing tens-of-thousands, before the citizenry really wakes up and takes the PC-gloves off to fight Islamofanatical terrorism.

The shock of 9-11 has subsided. And we are mostly back into the 1990's containment mindset. 'It' is over there -- Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. The trouble is, they aren't in a contained mindset--they are planning their next attacks here and throughout the world, and they have been planning them for years. They are in an all-out, subversive World War with us; we still can't bring our collective mindset to be at an all-out, full-fledges World War with them -- yet. But we will have to, because their agenda is world domination. Dust off the old history books and read about Europe from around 700 to 1100. Read Russian history. Islamofanaticalism tried to spread 1300 years ago and nearly succeeded. It took centuries for Western civilization to defend and fight against and recover from... What's that adage about being condemned to repeat the past? .

Agreed.

I love threads like this because I can find most all of the people with whom I agree in one place ;) ..and also the usual "bots" who will eventually show up and take the "anti" view because of the implied affront to their republicRat CINO party-idols who continue to preach peace, appeasement and free immigration. These same suspects insist that the government is beyond reproach, and that all of us folks who see something wrong with murdering women and children at Waco and Ruby Ridge in cold blood are somehow conspiracy theorists or even worse, "That they deserved it." Fascism is alive and well on both sides of the aisle.

/especially mean-spirited rant

I'd start with the mosques in Middle America. Go in and get fingerprints and photos of everyone attending. Keep it up until we find people who fit the profile or who have fake IDs.
