I don't think I can find the proper words....... Words that'll do justice to this American fighting man.
.... Bless him for his actions and hope that the pain of his loss will be easier on his friends and family knowing of his love of life and his country.
There will be so many stories of sacrifice and heroism and each and everyone of them needs to be told. Each and everyone of them needs to be heard. Each and everyone of them needs to kept at the forefront of our nations historical record of it's fight to keep us all free, safe and secure ........
Sgt Peralta....... Thank You
1. The family of this hero - who volunteered to leave his family, go to the Turd World in harm's way and do battle with the nation's enemy, may receive just enough payment from the government to provide a spartan warrior's burial...
While the families of those killed sitting in their civilian offices -- a subway ride from home, who had made no such commitment to assume risk and danger, receive millions for being "collateral damage" and STILL complain it's not enough or blame the President for their loss. -- or believe they have some earned right to express their views on any subject that crosses their minds...
2. I suspect many have forgotten the reports of military families requiring food stamps and state assistance to make ends meet....
We didn't value their lives and sacrifice enough to compensate them as well as we do the worthless broodmares that copulate and populate to drive up their welfare checks....
Something ain't right.....
We either value these warriors, or we don't...
Words and respect alone, are NOT enough..
When you compare the compensation our "civil servants", "congress critters" and "welfare leaches" seem to deserve from OUR pockets --- yet our warriors are shown our appreciation in a lesser manner.....
It's damned insulting..and WRONG.
I not at all sure we deserve these men....
