I can't vouch for the missile theory, although I believe the aircraft was blown apart by an outside induced explosion, vis missile or with internal plastic explosives, etc. attached to the center fuel tank. I can vouch for the integrity of the center tank fuel system on the B747. No technical "expert" will ever convince me that the explosion was caused from the malfunction of wiring inside the fuel tank.

As everyone knows, the official government position to this day is that the center wing tank of the jumbo jet mysteriously self-ignited shortly after takeoff, without any human cause. But in addition to all the hard physical evidence of a terrorist bomb or missile strike recounted in his book, including Yousef’s favorite explosive residues, RDX, PETN and Nitro on multiple seat cushions pulled from the ocean floor, Cashill’s later comment about the attack occurring on Iraq’s Liberation Day is shattering in its impact: “Were Mecca to be bombed on the 4th of July, the disinterested observer would logically conclude that either the USA was responsible or that some provocateur did it to implicate the US.”

Hmmm...now, wasn't this stuff what the Marxist-Stream-Media SCREAMED about being "missing" from Iraq JUST before the Nov. elections??? That is was Soooooo serious, and all Bush's fault that such POWERFUL explosive materials (which Iraq WASN'T supposed to have, and the U.N KNEW of and catalogued, but never REMOVED from posession...)was missing/unaccounted for?

Now, just when did the media have all kinds of exposes on the explosives residue on SEATS on a downed airliner...oh, wait...it was during IMPOTUS X-42's regime....that explains it; nevermind!

TWA-800 WAS a terrorist op, IMPOTUS X-42 KNEW, and did NOTHING but CYA because his "Legacy" and re-election were MORE important that American lives/property and SAFETY!

Just think about it. Do you have any idea how many millions of B747 flights have occurred since the aircraft began flying in 1969? Now take all those millions of flight and, only one, (I remind you, only one) had this wiring failure. Aircraft malfunctions rarely if ever work that way. The aircraft always either "talks" to you as problems build, or discrepency is discovered during rountine or non-routine maintenance checks.

That's a good point, and one raised by DeMille. He claimed that none of the industrialized nations' inventories was missing such a weapon . . . then he kind of left it unstated as to where someone would get such a VERY sophisticated weapon. Moreover, while I've never fired such a missile, this strikes me as something that is NOT done without tremendous "on the ground" technology and a fairly well-trained crew. In other words, you don't get a random terrorist in a rowboat firing one of these. Moreover, there were all sorts of aircraft up there that night. How would you know to "target" this particular one?

DeMille raises the speculation that an Israeli airliner was next in line, and that they got mixed up as to which plane they were trying to shoot down.

I still remember the live news reports from that night and how so many people were commenting on seeing some kind of flash in the sky right before the plane exploded

Well what could cause the center fuel tank to suddenly explode? We already have the answer and its completely consistent with an AQ stile attack, low cost and simple, a shoe bomber sitting directly over the center fuel tank. I believe the explosive residue was suppressed not so much to cover Clinton’s butt but rather the airline industries.

I heard that the Afgan rebels got quite a few SA-7 Grail Shoulder fired surface to air missles during their war with the Soviets. The cover-up here is just too obvious...I believe the Clintonistas were absolute masters of the art of cove-ups, Vince Foster, Ron Brown, Flight 800, White-water and the list goes on. Add to that what happened to the reputations of the people that actually survived crossing these people and it is pretty easy to see why people would stay quiet.

Early in the discussion of OK City there were some media comments about the bombing having a "Middle East signature." That commentary ceased in the MSM very quickly, though.

Second, while I could believe that about the Clintons, I do not believe the Bush admin would cover up a terrorist strike and/or an accidental launch. Certainly individuals would not have a problem "coming out" now.
