A good friend of mine is an Israeli woman whose father was an arab and her mother a Jew. She is fluent in both Arabic and Hebrew, including idioms. She offered her services in 2002 and the FBI turned her down without so much as an interview.
I am reading about this in the book "Infiltration". I have been reading this dam book since June, pathetic I am. No time to read all the books on my list.
